Tycoons Ricardo B. Salinas and Orlando Bravo involved an appearance at the Bitcoin 2022 gathering in Miami to caution about the risks of U.S. dollar expansion.
“I have a major resentment against fiat, I call it the fiat extortion,” Salinas, the proprietor of Mexico’s Banco Azteca, said Thursday. He retold the narrative of how his compensation as a youthful MBA graduate in Mexico during the 1980s declined from around $2,000 per month to only $20 over a time of six years, adding “that is excessive inflation.”
